ARCH ACADEMY GLOBAL TRIP 2016 - DAY 7

Eric

Limited Wi-Fi means short blog. The students have been great and the first twenty four hours have passed peacefully. We'll see how they feel about yet more oatmeal and lentils tomorrow.
All the best to those at home!

  1. I'm hoping you're having a good time in Plum Village with the best group of kids and staff you could go with. I'm sending you loving kindness, and thanks for these blogs. It makes me happy to know that you guys are having the time of your lives. Keep up the awesome blogging, and have a good day. Everything is going great at home, and I can't wait to see you guys again. -Faith

  3. Hello to all of the staff, could please relay this message to them. I can't thank you guys enough for the things you do for all of your students and each other. Like I said in my reply to Diana, I don't realize what I have until it's gone and I miss you all so much. I'm happy you are all coming back with lots of stories to tell. Thank you Cheryl for thinking of the idea to go to Plum Village because every student blogs about the amazing time their having and all the skills their learning. Heather, I know all the Spanish you learn comes in handy, and you make a fun edition to the group in everything we do. Drew, Wesley always talks about an amazing time he's having with you, and he loves to mention the soccer you guys play. I hope your doing lots of surfing. Eric, your last blog was so detailed, it interested me right away and I didn't want it to be over. I've heard that you had some chances to use your French. Taylor and Cooper, even though you've only been here for a few months, everything you have done for me has taught me a valuable lesson I can use now and in future events. Thank you both for that... and the t-shirts you made are awesome! Beth, thanks for helping Matt plan the trip, I know all the students are having such a great time, and they won't ever stop thanking you when they get back. Neither will I for that matter. John, you have been with us since Alcatraz, and you finally got to swim with us in Santa Barbara. You teach us inspiring things every time you talk to us and you take us on hikes, that turn out to be an hour when you say they will be twenty minutes, but that's alright. Now you are on a trip with kids who will never forget what you did for them. I can't wait to see you and swim with you in Molokai. You all mean a lot to us kids, and I'm happy you all got to go on this life changing trip. I miss you guys back at home, and i'm excited to hear about everything you have done. I send you loving kindness everyday, everything back at school is great, and Namaste. -Faith
