Today was great. I woke up and did guided meditation. After I ate breakfast, I
learned about the five mindful trainings. We then did walking meditation and
ate lunch. I took a nap and worked at Happy Farms. It was so much fun! I took
plants out of a green house and organized them. I started singing "Why
Can't We Be Friends" and Isaac, one of the farmers, started singing it
with me. Then I ate dinner and blogged. I hope all is well back at home.
The greenhouse is probably really cool, and I hope you're getting a lot out of this trip. See you soon, and make the last few days the best. Namaste. -Faith
ReplyDeleteSounds like you enjoyed your day, also if you were to rewrite the song to be "Why can't we be monks" I think it turn out to be a hit in Plum Village.

ReplyDeleteI love that song! You have a great attitude, Diana. What an experience this is and one you will remember for years to come. Travel is a real eye opener and an education-something that no one can ever take away from you. With your positive outlook, you will go far.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like your trip is going by so fast. Working with plants is a great skill - hopefully you pick up a few tricks!
ReplyDeleteSounds so fun. Say hi to Taylor 4 me :) --JJ
